Sanchai Dechanupaprittha received the B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees (Electrical Engineering) from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He also received the D.Eng. (Electrical Engineering) from Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), Japan, in 2008. He is currently an Associate Professor at Kasetsart University. His research interests are power system stability analysis, dynamics and robust control, power system optimization and computational intelligence, wide-area monitoring and control, and smart grid data analytics and visualization.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cattareeya Suwanasri is Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at KMUTNB, Thailand. She holds a D.Eng. and M.Eng. from the Asian Institute of Technology and specializes in high voltage engineering, power system asset management, and renewable energy integration. With over 20 years of experience, she has led numerous research projects with PEA, EGAT, and private utilities. She is an active member of IEEE PES Thailand and EEAAT, a reviewer for international journals, and a committee member for various IEEE conferences.

Heinrich von Geymueller (M'2024) was born in Bonn Germany in 1981 and received his Dipl.-Ing. (TU) in Mechatronics Engineering from the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany in 209. He worked on small solar systems in Mozambique with Germany Development Agency (GIZ) in 2010. Since 2011, he has been working with Siemens Energy (former Siemens AG) in the field of FACTS. He has been involved in several STATCOM, Hybrid STATCOM and Synchronous Condenser projects/tenders and has been responsible for commissioning, control systems engineering, real time simulator testing, trainings, tender management and technical sales for FACTS systems for utility and industry customers all over the world.
HBU Segment Leader for Power Quality, Hitachi Energy
Ranfeng Situ is the HBU Segment Leader for Power Quality in Hitachi Energy, where he is responsible for the FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) & Power Conversion business portfolio in the APAC region. Prior to this role, Ranfeng was the Segment lead for renewable integration business. Ranfeng has more than 10 years of working experience in Power Systems and bulk renewable integration, before his time with Hitachi Energy, he worked with industry leaders like Vestas in wind turbine converter modelling and grid code compliance. In his early career, he worked for Transpower NZ, the owner and operator of New Zealand's high voltage transmission network, where he specialized in power system analysis, planning and delivery of system security forecasts for the System Operator.
Ranfeng earned his MBA from University of Manchester, Masters and bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

An authority in Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and Grid Automation, Dr. Sankara holds 17 international patents and has authored 70+ technical papers. He actively contributes to international working groups and standards bodies, helping shape the future of grid technology.
Recognized for his strategic insight and technical depth, Dr. Sankara is a passionate advocate for FACTS technologies as a cornerstone of the energy transition.
